Speech

Speech refers to the sounds made in the process of speaking. Some common speech errors would include when a child says ‘wed’ for ‘red’ or ‘tat’ for ‘cat’.

We can improve speech sound skills for clear and effective communication. We have additional training in PROMPT therapy.

Language

Expressive Language is sharing our thoughts, feelings and ideas. We can develop expressive language skills including vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar and narrative (story telling skills).

Receptive Language is understanding what others say or what you read. We can improve receptive language skills (comprehension skills) to help people understand questions and follow instructions.

Literacy

We can provide literacy support for school age children, including assisting reading, spelling and writing skills. Amanda & Natalie have additional training in Sounds-Write.

Social Communication Skills

We use a neurodiversity affirming approach, appreciating the individual preferences, styles and priorities of neuro divergent individuals. We can provide therapy to target both social communication and social interaction skills, to assist school age children and teens to understand social situations, learn conversation skills and develop friendship skills.

Executive Functioning Skills

We work with teens to develop skills necessary for high school and beyond, such as organisation, planning, time management, goal setting, self-evaluation, problem-solving, inferencing, and working memory strategies.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

We provide support, assessment and training in augmentative & alternative communication methods. We have extensive experience in supporting clients using a range of AAC and providing training to those around them.

Feeding and Mealtimes

We can support safe, successful and enjoyable mealtimes.  Monique has additional training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding Therapy.
